The green ring – a hiking trail full of secrets and mysterious beings
The Green Ring is a hike in stages lasting several days that leads over mountain ridges, through hollows, and past mountain lakes and rivers with waterfalls, all of which rise and are tucked away around Lech Zürs. Hikers can immerse themselves in a modern world of legends full of humour and charm here, enjoy nature and be swept away by extraordinary installations and stories created especially for the trail. It offers a modern, humorous take on mythical creatures and legends as well as field names and geographical features.
The Green Ring can be hiked the whole summer from June 21st to October 6th. Hiking suggestions and a fairy tail book can be requested to Georg Strolz personally.

Golf-Challenge Lech 2013
From July 14th to 21st, 2013 our Golf Challenge Lech week will take place for the 6th time. New is, that you can either book the whole week or just the weekend from Thursday on, as our tournaments will be on Friday and Saturday. Below the highlights of this years program:

Wednesday, July 17th Opera “Zauberflöte” at the festival in Bregenz
Thursday, July 18th Fun Tournament at the 3 hole golf course in Lech
Friday, July 19th, Tournament in Brand – dinner at Hotel Berghof
Saturday, July 20th, Tournament in Braz distribution of prices and -dinner at Hotel Goldener Berg

The Arlberg Music Festival
One of the absolute highlights once again next summer will definitely be the Arlberg Music Festival. The Helly Kumpusch Band, Alpenbrass Tirol and the Jetzendorfer Hinterhofmusikanten
will provide live entertainment in the festival tent on Friday and
Saturday. Then the big march through the town will take place on Sunday at 2:00 in the afternoon, with everyone in high spirits and traditional dress. The huge concert by all of the bands in the festival tent is an unforgettable event.

6th Lech Folk Music Day
Folk musicians from all over Vorarlberg will meet once again here in Lech on 3 August 2013.
The official opening will take place at Rüfikopfplatz at 11:00 in the
morning, and then the individual bands will play on terraces all over
Lech – if the weather is bad, then in the traditional cosy indoor seating
areas – until about 4:30 in the afternoon. Local dishes will be served
to go with the music.
The final concert of this amazing day of folk music will take place in the Postgarage at 7:00 in the evening and will feature numerous groups. To top off this wonderful weekend, a few musicians will play at the mass on 4 August at 9:30 in the morning
Classic Music Festival
For many years, visitors to Arlberg have included intellectuals as well as people in search of relaxation. Besides the long-standing Philosophicum, which will take place in 2013 from 25 to 29 September, Lech also serves as a place for classical music now, offering audiences rewarding encounters with young soloists.
The second festival will take place from Tuesday, 7 August, to Saturday, 10 August 2013. Bach, Händel , Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Tschaikowsky are on the program. There will be an introduction to the music works before each concert.
Martin Haselböck will conduct the concert. Just to mention one of the many highlights: the director of the Theater an der Josefstadt, Herbert Föttinger, will recite Grillparzer’s text accompanied by Beethoven’s incidental music of Egmont.
We again look to forward to many concertgoer!
