Lechmuseum Huber-Hus
Immerse yourself in a piece of history when you enter the Huber-Hus, built towards the end of the 16th century.
It used to be a traditional family home, but since 2005 it has been used as a museum and is open to everyone. Thanks to its central location, you can easily reach the Huber-Hus both on foot and by public transport. The reconstructed living and working spaces provide an authentic insight into the house's past, and there are always new and varied special exhibitions.
There is also plenty for children to discover at the Lech Museum. Thanks to two lovingly illustrated booklets, the little ones can get to know the museum mouse Huberta and her friend Odo and take home a nice souvenir.
Opening hours Huber-Hus and special exhibition:
Thursday to Sunday: 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm
Currently: Exhibition "BLITZBLANK!"
BLITZBLANK!
VOM PUTZEN – INNEN, AUSSEN, ÜBERALL
An exhibition at two locations (FMH Women’s Museum Hittisau and Lechmuseum) about cleaning as a cultural technique and about an extra-clean world. The Lechmuseum opened its winter season on 2 December 2023. The special exhibition is open until 31 April 2024 and offers informative, surprising and critical information – as well as a dash of nostalgia.
For Children
Museum mouse Huberta and her friend Odo live in the Huber-Hus. Children can get to know them here and watch two short films. The two little mouse books from the DIE KLEINEN LECHSCHRIFTEN series are available in the museum shop.
Children also love the Tonie figures in the museum, our activity days in summer and the events during Advent.
