It is important to us to make your vacation as pleasant and as safe as possible. For this we will implement extensive protective measures for you and our employees. These will be continuously adapted to the official regulations.

The individual measures are as follows:

  • Comprehensive basic cleaning and disinfection are standard with us.
  • Increased frequency of disinfection of all contact surfaces.
  • In order to guarantee the minimum distance of 1 meter, the restaurant furniture was adjusted.
  • The possibility of hand disinfection is guaranteed in all public areas.
  • Your personal hand disinfectant is available in your room on arrival.
  • Your booked room was cleaned and disinfected according to strict conditions.
  • All employees are trained sustainably in their area of ​​activity and are informed about changes on a daily basis.
  • Our employees and we - family Strolz - are tested for COVID19 frequently.
  • If you feel uncomfortable during your stay, you have the possibility to do an antigen test in the village (for a fee), which shows the test result after only 15 minutes.

We understand that you are unsettled by the daily changing information and have questions about your vacation with us. We are monitoring the situation constantly. We are there for you and happy to help you with any questions.

We reserve the right to make changes at short notice and do not guarantee the completeness of the listed security measures.

Please note the entry requirements to Austria. 

We want your vacation to be a pleasure on all levels. We can only guarantee this if you feel fit and can fully enjoy your vacation. If you have experienced Corona symptoms such as fever, cough, no sense of taste and / or body aches in the past 2 weeks before your arrival, please do not start your stay.

You have the possibility to have an antigen test (the result is available at the latest 15 minutes later) or a PCR test (test result after 24 - 48 hours) at the local doctors before departure. You can register for this at our reception desk. 

If the symptoms mentioned above occur within 2 weeks after departure, please inform us.


To give you a good feeling when booking your holiday in these uncertain times, we have adjusted our cancellation conditions. In winter 20/21 you can cancel free of charge until 4 weeks before arrival. 

If drastic measures are taken, such as closing the border or entry restrictions, or Covid cases occur at the hotel, we also guarantee a cancellation free of charge.

Covid19 cancellation insurance:

New: Should you or someone in your family fall ill with Covid19 before your holiday, cancellation is covered by free Covid insurance from the province of Vorarlberg. This also applies if you have to go into an enforced quarantine. With a medical certificate or a quarantine notification, the cancellation costs are covered for you.

Travel insurance Hotelstorno-Plus:

Covid19 cancellation insurance does not cover general illness. In this case we recommend the travel cancellation insurance Hotelstorno-Plus from the European travel insurance. With a medical certificate, this insurance will cover any cancellation costs.  The same applies if you have to interrupt your holiday with us due to symptoms of illness. Please let us know if you would like to take out additional travel cancellation insurance through the Europäische Reiseversicherung. 


We kindly ask you to keep a safe distance of 1 meter from other guests and to use the set up hand disinfection. This gives other guests and our staff a good feeling.

Where the minimum distance of 1 metre cannot be maintained, i.e. in the hotel corridors, when entering or leaving the restaurant or when queuing at the buffet, we ask you to wear a mouth and nose mask. Furthermore, you will find disposable gloves in front of our buffets, which you are kindly requested to use.

This winter, our staff will also wear a fitted mouth-and-nose protection wherever the safety distance cannot be maintained. 


When cleaning the rooms, our ladies will, as always, pay full attention to hygiene. All surfaces are treated with a special wipe disinfection.

We use antiviral laundry detergents as standard.

An extra bed service in the evening is no longer offered automatically but is available upon request. Since the guest rooms are your private area, we will enter them as rarely as possible.

In the room you will find your private hand disinfectant for your stay.


For your protection, the restaurant areas are mostly closed to external guests. Of course, we will pamper you, our house guests, as part of the half board, adapted to the current circumstances.

We kindly ask you to wear a mouth-and-nose mask when entering and leaving the restaurant and when queuing at the buffet, as the minimum distance to other guests is not always guaranteed there. Please use the single-use gloves provided on the buffets (for the scooping hand).

We will extend the meal times a little. In addition to the cake buffet, we also offer a small snack menu in the afternoons for "hunger in between". In the evening, families already can dine at 6:30 p.m., so that the main meal times are a little bit more straightforward.

The breakfast buffet will be available to you during your stay in the usual way, variety and quality. Our buffet areas have been redesigned in such a way that we can fully guarantee the increased hygiene regulations and the associated distance regulations. Single-use gloves are available for you at all buffets.Our staff will be happy to help you at the buffet. Keep distance!

Given the occasion, the restaurants in the village and ski area will not be able to offer the usual capacities. We would be happy to help you reserve your lunch break in the ski area in advance. Should you want to satisfy your hunger in the hotel, in our restaurant or on our quiet sun terrace, we offer an à la carte lunch menu between 12 noon and 1.30 pm or a small snack menu from 1.30 pm to 5 pm. The cake buffet included in the room price is waiting for you from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

If you want to prepare your own breakfast in the apartment, you can order fresh bread from us in the morning. We will also offer homemade delicacies for lunch or dinner, to finish it yourself in your apartment. We recommend reserving evening restaurants in town in advance.


The indoor pool area is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the sauna area - new -  from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A maximum of guests from 2 different households are allowed per sauna cabin. We ask our guests to keep their distance and to observe the “household rule”.

In addition, both the sauna area and the indoor pool area are very spacious and it is easy to keep your distance. Relaxing in our indoor pool terrace is particularly ideal in spring.


In winter 2020/21 our kids club will open 5 days a week at 9:30 a.m. (daily until 10:00 p.m.). As an additional service for our little guests who don't want to go to the children's ski school or the ski kindergarten every day.

Please note that the use of our ski school shuttle "Teddy-Express" is only possible with a mask.

In the Teddy Club we try to keep the Covid measures as low as possible. Hygiene measures are of course observed, but we will refrain from using masks and gloves. When the weather is nice, walks or outdoor activities are offered. At the children's dinner in the children's club, we pay special attention to the rules of distance.

We ask for your understanding that we can no longer continue to look after your little ones if there are signs of illness.


Together, the province of Vorarlberg and its tourism industry players have put together a comprehensive winter strategy. The aim of the Winter Code Vorarlberg is to offer all guests a special level of safety with a coordinated concept. You should feel well looked after everywhere: whether in a hotel, in a guesthouse, in a gondola or when discovering your holiday region.

- Relaxed booking - the free Covid 19 guest cancellation insurance

You can book your winter holiday in Vorarlberg with a good feeling. Should you or someone in your family fall ill with Covid19 in the last days before your arrival, the province of Vorarlberg offers free travel insurance. This also covers cancellation costs if you have to go into an officially ordered quarantine. We will be happy to send you more information on this upon request. 

- Companion - Contact Tracing

Hosts in the catering industry are obliged to record contact details. In this way, the chain of infection can be quickly traced and interrupted in the event of an incident. A digital guest book accompanies guests, staff and locals through the winter in a simple and uncomplicated way - a QR scan is all that is needed.

- Quality assurance - Covid-19 representatives in all companies

The tourist businesses - accommodation, catering, cable cars, ski schools and tourism organisations - have appointed a Covid 19 representative. This officer is responsible for ensuring that the prescribed prevention and hygiene concept is implemented and is the contact person for guests, employees and authorities.

- Testing facilities for guests

You have the possibility to measure your body temperature at any time and without contact. Throughout the entire winter season, guests in all winter sports regions can also take advantage of an easily accessible PCR test service (subject to charge).


Lech / Zürs is in the fortunate position that 8 chairlifts lead directly from the villages to the ski area. So if you want to avoid a ride on the gondola, you have several options here.

As before, you can buy your ski passes directly from us at the hotel reception without having to wait in line at the lift ticket office.

The waiting areas at the lifts will be optimized, mouth and nose protection is mandatory.

All cable car cabins, cash desks and other similar facilities are regularly cleaned and disinfected.

If you want to avoid the restaurants in the ski area, you can satisfy your hunger with a snack menu in the hotel in the afternoon.


Mouth and nose mask will be compulsory in the ski buses. Additional buses are expected to be available in winter 20/21 in order to avoid crowding in the first place. This increases the transport capacity by approx. 30%. At peak times, dedicated security officers will ensure that processes are calm and orderly.


In addition to the usual wearing of masks for employees when contacting customers, the Lech Ski School has also developed measures for group courses. All tickets and courses can generally be booked online now. In the children's ski school, all guests with online tickets have the opportunity to use the “Early Check-in” option before the course begins, so that they can receive detailed information as soon as they arrive in Lech about which group (which ski instructor) they are with are assigned and at what time they should be present.

Appropriate measures for more space and a temporal equalization are taken at the meeting points. The ski schools (Lech, Oberlech and Zürs) are well prepared to implement the applicable regulations and will be happy to inform you about them. Lunches for ski school groups (especially for groups of children) are continuously coordinated with the companies (Lech ski school and Oberlech ski school) and all applicable regulations are observed when visiting restaurants.

We are also happy to organize a private ski instructor, especially to enjoy the mountains and snow away from the slopes. Also the perfect alternative for off-piste beginners!
