Skiing with Kids
Even at the youngest age, children can experience the fascination of skiing and gain their first experience on skis.
With professional and caring supervision, nothing stands in the way of the little ones - from the very first turns in the well-equipped Kinderland to the exciting weekly ski races, there is everything to make children's hearts beat faster.
❄ Renowned ski schools, such as the Lech Ski School, the Oberlech Ski School and the Tannberg Ski School, offer ideal opportunities for children from the age of four and a half to complete their first ski course. In a playful and fun atmosphere, children are taught to ski step by step so that they can conquer the slopes with joy and confidence.
❄ The youngest ski bunnies, aged three to five, are in good hands at the local Lech children's club. Here they are introduced to skiing in a particularly playful and child-friendly way, so that they can celebrate their first successes on the snow without any pressure and with lots of fun.
❄ For very young skiers between the ages of two and three, the Oberlech ski school offers loving care in the so-called play children's group. Here, the focus is on playfully discovering the snow, so that the little ones come into contact with the world of winter sports at an early age, but without coercion and in a safe environment.
Kids ski schools

Playgroup for children in the Oberlech ski kindergarten at the ski hut behind the Hotel Montana – please note that you can only reach this with the Oberlech mountain railway - Between 3 and 4 1/2 years
Lech ski kindergarten – right next to the Lech church (Haus des Kindes) - From 4 1/2 years
the ski school group courses are offered e.g. at the Lech ski school – the assembly point is located at the Oberlech mountain railway (on the stream side)
Alternatively: Oberlech Ski School or Tannberg Lech Ski School
Hotel Austria Teddy Express
Our Teddy Express shuttle will take you and your children to the meeting point of the Lech children’s ski school, to the Lech ski kindergarten and to the Oberlech gondola (all within 100 metres of our bus stop in the village).
Departure times:
From 09.00 am to 09.40 am our little ‘train’ shuttles continuously between the hotel and the village.
The children are picked up again between 2.50 pm and 3.20 pm.
