Relaxation, fun and games - as a family-friendly accommodation, Hotel Austria offers an extensive leisure and childcare program for children from the age of three! While the kids are allowed to let off steam by playing together and taking part in exciting activities, mothers and fathers have the opportunity to enjoy a little time out.
For example, family trails suitable for prams offer opportunities for excursions with our mountain buggies, themed hiking trails impart knowledge about fauna and flora and Alpine playgrounds as well as mystery trails lure the little hikers up the mountain. Not forgetting: the adventure of pure nature – with clear mountain rivers to splash in or dam up, you can build cairns and climb trees, and there are colourful mountain plants to marvel at. So, even the little ones can have a lot of fun on a hike.
The somewhat bigger, more daring kids, who would like to experience something without their parents, can take part in the adventure programme of the Adventure Team Lech. Highlights such as canyoning, archery or an adventure day in the forest camp are offered there. But a first contact with rocks at dizzy heights is not excluded either, because the programme includes weekly children’s climbing in the climbing garden. Well-secured, that goes without saying. And the best thing is that the little adventurers up to 14 years of age can take part in everything free of charge.
A real highlight for the whole family is a short hike to the fish pond in Zug. Because there, you have to work for your lunch, and then it will taste all the more delicious. Fishing tackle and bait are provided here and with a few brief tips, nothing stands in the way of catching your first fish!
During the summer holidays, the weekends are dedicated to families. Together with the guides from Arlberg Alpin, we go family canyoning on Saturdays and family climbing on the Rüfikopf on Sundays. And the best thing is, these two days are included for Lech Card holders. But you need to be quick because the limited spaces are always in high demand. We are happy to help you book this great additional offer as early as 2 weeks before your arrival.
